I'm Evan, founder of Taxidermist Advisors. I started my career managing money the traditional way, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, before I was recruited by American National (since acquired by Brookfield Asset Management).
Somewhere along the way I figured out that taxidermy shop owners were getting handed the same generic policies and the same one-size-fits-all retirement advice as everyone else, and that almost nobody in the industry actually knew the trade. So I built a practice around it.
I spend a good chunk of my spring and summer visiting and sponsoring taxidermy associations, and I look forward to it every year. The rest of the time, you'll find me hunting, fishing, or running our hog farm in Blackstock, SC.
